OUR COLLABORATIONS IN ITALY AND ABROAD

An efficient and innovative company like Sicil Service CND cannot operate without close collaboration with reliable and successful partners—leading players in their respective sectors and markets. Below is a brief overview of our ongoing collaborations.

Our Partners

EUROGLOBAL SERVICE CND S.r.l.
A company based in Sibiu (Romania), 95% owned by Sicil Service CND, established to offer a comprehensive range of services and immediately secure a strong position in the field of non-destructive testing in Romania.

EC-WORKS – Eddy Current Testing
EC-WORKS specializes in eddy current testing, a magneto-inductive inspection method that uses a probe capable of penetrating inside tubes, equipped with two magnets. The magnetic field they generate is distorted by the presence of a defect, inducing a current in the coils. Depending on the size and material of the tube, the defect’s position and depth can be determined, as well as whether it is located internally or externally. The probe is connected to a PC, which, through specialized software, processes the information in real time and provides a final report with a defect map.

MISTRAS GROUP– Netherlands
AE (Acoustic Emission)
Mistras Group is an industry leader that has developed and refined two highly reliable techniques: one for inspecting tank bottoms (TANKPAC) and another for inspecting pressurised tanks (MONPACK). These types of inspections are extremely useful because they must be performed while the tanks are in service, providing critical information about existing cracks in the structure, allowing for proper maintenance planning.

SONOVATION – Netherlands
Automated ultrasonic testing – TOFD method, Phased Array, and P-scan, including high-temperature inspections.

QUALITY CONTROL – Italy (Testing Laboratory certified by ACCREDIA)
Laboratory tests on welded joints and metallic materials – Mechanical Tests, Metallographic Tests, Corrosion Tests, Strain Gauge Tests.
VERKADE N.D.T. SERVICES GmbH – Germany
Research on Hydrogen Induced Cracking (Stepwise Cracking) in equipment exposed to wet Hâ‚‚S.
Semi-automated UTD inspections for corrosion detection on pipeline supports.

ROSEN – TBIT (Tank Bottom Inspection Tool)
ROSEN Inspection Technologies has developed an effective and reliable method for inspecting tank bottoms, which are more susceptible to corrosion than the walls due to their contact with substances in the ground.
The Tank Bottom Inspection Tool consists of a mobile structure equipped with two magnets and multiple sensors on the lower side, closest to the ground, and a control panel with a notebook on the upper side for data acquisition and processing.
The principle behind this method is simple: an operator pushes the device along the entire tank bottom surface. The magnetic field lines generated by the magnets are disrupted by defects, and these disturbances are recorded by the sensors.

UT-QUALITY – Netherlands
Controllo UTD metodo AUT su pipeline in costruzione e controllo con TOFD, Phased Array Ultrasonics (The Mostadvanced phased Array Technology for Boiler Tube Inspection ) su tubazioni di piccoli diametro costruzione serpentine o parete caldaia delle Centrale termoelettriche.

VERKADE N.D.T. SERVICES GmbH – Germany
UTD AUT method inspections on pipelines under construction and TOFD, Phased Array Ultrasonics (The Most Advanced Phased Array Technology for Boiler Tube Inspection) on small-diameter piping, coil construction, or boiler walls in thermal power plants.

TÜV SÜDDEUTSCHLAND – Germany
Approval of non-destructive testing performed by foreign organisations.

LASER ENGINEERING di Navarra Angelo & C. – Italy
Surveys using 3D Laser Scanner technology.
