HEAT TREATMENTS

Sicil Service CND carries out Heat Treatments on equipment, machinery, and piping, distinguishing itself through the usual reliability and expertise of its certified operators. The stress-relief heat treatment by resistance, specifically, is applied to welds of tubular products and/or equipment, as well as to welds of joints for connecting pipelines, bends, fittings, and flanges in non-alloy carbon steel, chromium-molybdenum alloy steel up to 13% Cr, and austenitic stainless steel, in order to eliminate internal stresses in the joint (weld bead and heat-affected zone) that could compromise its mechanical strength.
